This photo was taken recently at Delaney Hall in New Jersey where IC3 has set up a Concentration camp to hold entire families, healthcare denied, food infected, and the desperation of the government sanctioned hostages in the window.Photo by: Alexa Wilkinson at https://www.instagram.com/framed.unrest .
HAUNTING

Haunting
Shadows appear in prisons of the living dead,
Darkness cannot hide the sins of their captors.
Counting down the days in heated breath against walls of cruelty and crime,
A sacred riot, violence to meet abusers’ infliction,
Inflections of screams against the night.

Haunting,
Bombed out, brittled to rubble and human bone,
Ariel views show the rot of monsters and theft.
Land taken while beyond graves, a spell cast to rage and take land back.
Barren, all that’s left corrupted sand to feed wealth’s poison and greed
As we cry out for seeds, born from an army of prosthetic children.

Haunting,
The hunted become hunters in the name of ancient stories gone,
Marking territory with little more to say than ruminated tropes,
Merging faith to DNA, in villainous laugher
While their victims water the soil with blood and hope,
Hunger stricken, they refute what their captors wrote.
The photos show what the area of Gaza once was and what it’s become while Izr. Builds a military base. Photos from online circulation from drones
The next 2- poems are renditions of what I wrote during Covid-19 & rise of BLM as I watched on from SEA. The words still pierce the moment. For my full collection, “Of Stardust & Ashes We Are Made” is linked below.
